Goethals Bridge delays reported during Wednesday morning rush hour

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Delays are reported on the Goethals Bridge to Staten Island during the early Wednesday morning rush hour.

An alert from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey attributes the delay to “heavy truck congestion” on the Staten Island Expressway Brooklyn-bound near the span.

Traffic is snarled near the Forest Avenue /Gulf Avenue exit, according to an alert from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

The congestion extends to at least the exchange for the West Shore Expressway, according to 511NY.
