The trade rumors have been swarming around Breece Hall since March, when coach Aaron Glenn told the world Hall would have to earn his No. 1 role in the running back room.
But through it all Hall has remained steadfast: he wants to stay with the Jets.
That appeared to change on Tuesday afternoon, as the Jets were in the midst of a blockbuster trade deadline day that saw them trade their two best defensive players: cornerback Sauce Gardner, to the Colts; and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, to the Cowboys.
With about an hour to go before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that Hall has changed his tune and wants to be traded.
“Breece wants to be out,” Schultz posted on X.
