One of three people facing trial in a Bay Roberts murder has applied for another crack at bail until it starts.

Twenty-eight-year-old Stephanie Noftall was released in late March for the first time since she was charged last fall.

But her bail was revoked over the summer when she was arrested for breaching conditions, and lost a key surety to vouch for her.

Yesterday, Noftall’s lawyer was back before Supreme Court seeking a second chance, to be heard on December 1.

That just happens to be the day that she and her co-accused — 34-year-old Terry Cole and 41-year-old Matthew Kavanagh – are to be arraigned for first-degree murder, with dates set for trial.
