CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights elected City Councilman Jim Petras in the city’s second-ever mayoral election since switching from a council-manager system in 2019.
Petras, a 36-year-old first-term councilman, led City Council Vice President Davida Russell by a vote of 55-44% with 27 out of 33 precincts reporting, according to unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
