WILTON — A 69-year-old Saratoga Springs man died Monday, weeks after he was struck by a man fleeing a Walmart he’d allegedly stolen from, New York State Police confirmed.
Michael Bushey was working the night of Oct. 16 at Walmart in Wilton when 34-year-old Timothy W. Besaw drove his vehicle into a group standing at the entrance of the store, striking Bushey and one other employee, State Police said. Bushey later died at Albany Medical Center.
Besaw was stopped earlier that night trying to leave the store with stolen items, then left wearing other items he had stolen, troopers said.
