On Wednesday at 2:18 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Carbon and Monroe counties.
The weather service states, "Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected."
"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," explains the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
