Gareth Southgate, from England legend to... traitor?

The 55-year-old has hinted that he has been approached by the BBC to take part in next year's series of hit TV show Celebrity Traitors.

Southgate has so far remained fairly out of the public eye since standing down as England boss in July 2024 .

During his eight-year spell in charge of the Three Lions, he took England to back-to-back European Championship finals [delayed 2020 tournament and 2024].

Though England suffered two heartbreaking defeats - first to Italy on penalties after taking an early lead through Luke Shaw.
