Star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has made his way back to the national side for the upcoming two-Test series against South Africa, starting November 14 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The 28-year-old stumper had missed India’s previous Test series against West Indies as he was recovering from the foot fracture he suffered during the fourth Test against England in Manchester in July.

He proved his match fitness by leading India A to victory in the first four-day game against South Africa A at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru last week. Pant made 90 in the second innings as India A chased down a target of 275.
Pant will resume his job as the deputy to Shubman Gill with Dhruv Jurel, who impressed during the West Indies series, being the second-choice wicketkee
