YOUNGSTOWN A mobile medical clinic will offer pediatric primary care services at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County Main Library on Thursday, bringing medical services directly to families in the area.

The Akron Children’s Mobile Care Unit will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Main Library, 305 Wick Ave. The unit functions as a full-service primary care office on wheels, providing both well-child checkups and sick visits for patients from birth to age 21. The clinic also features onboard lab testing for common illnesses, including strep, flu, COVID-19, mononucleosis and urinalysis. Families do not need an appointment, as walk-ins are welcome.

The library is hosting the event as part of a collaboration designed to help local families access necessary health care. T
