EAST ELMHURST, Queens (PIX11) -- A flight was evacuated at LaGuardia Airport in Queens late Tuesday night after a bomb threat, Port Authority officials reported.
The Delta flight was departing from Terminal C at LaGuardia around 8 p.m. when the crew reported hearing of a bomb threat, according to the Port Authority.
The plane moved away from the terminal for investigation while passengers were bused back with their luggage. Port Authority police later cleared the aircraft around 10 p.m.
"Prior to departure from New York LaGuardia (LGA), customers on Delta flight 2313 to Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) were deplaned and transported back to the terminal due to a potential security concern," a spokesperson for Delta told PIX11 News in a statement.
