NEW CASTLE, Pa. - United Way of Lawrence County has kicked off its 20th Annual "Share the Warmth" blanket drive sponsored by Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and State Employee International Union (SEIU).

Families in Lawrence County are facing rising utility costs, as well as delays in Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) funding. The United Way is helping by providing warmth and comfort in the form of blankets to those in need.

The blanket drive will take place now through November 30. During this time, you can donate a blanket at any of the drop-off sites listed below.

- Busy Beaver in Shenango Township and Ellwood City

- Connerly's Cleaners

- Cray Office on Beaver Street

- The Lawrence County Government Center

- The Lawrence County YMCA and Y-Zone

- The New Castle Pub
