NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones has been re-elected -- without opposition -- to her second term in office.

“It’s humbling. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the residents,” she said.

“I don’t take this position for granted at all. I wake up every day thinking about North Olmsted, about how we can continue to make it better and grow.

“And I go to sleep every night thinking the same thing: What lies before us tomorrow and what opportunities do we have that we can seize in order to continue to make this a great city?”

Looking back at her first four years in office, the mayor said she started her tenure by hitting the ground running, with various projects coming to fruition.
