Three cadets and one master from Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, successfully completed the 10-kilometre run in the first-ever high-altitude marathon at the Adi Kailash in Pithoragarh district. The event was held on Sunday.
A communique from the RIMC said that despite sub-zero temperatures and snow-covered terrain, participants demonstrated incredible endurance and determination. Escort teacher Sanjay Kumar said, “Overcoming these new challenges was a first for our cadets. Braving the cold winds and rugged terrain wasn’t easy, but their spirits remained high throughout.”
