After a mild start to November weather, things are about to change, according to NBC 5 Storm Team Meteorologist Alicia Roman.
The first chance for snowflakes has arrived in Chicago-area forecasts.
According to Roman, Chicagoans can expect a couple dry and breezy days this week before rain moves in Thursday night and into Friday.
Another round of rain is likely Saturday and into Sunday, where some snowflakes could mix in with the precipitation as things turn "sharply colder."
The coldest air of the season so far is set to arrive Sunday and continue into early next week.
