Authorities are asking the public for help in locating a South Carolina college student who went missing on Halloween.
Owen Tillman Kenney, 19, was last seen early Friday, Oct. 31, the Charleston Police Department wrote in a Tuesday, Nov. 4 news release posted on its website.
Shortly after 3 a.m. that day, police said video surveillance captured Kinney walking alone onto the Ravenel Bridge, a pedestrian walkway about a mile north of downtown Charleston. The cable-stayed bridge stretches the Cooper River and connects the city to Mount Pleasant, a suburban town in Charleston County.
Charleston police said the department was coordinating with the FBI and New Jersey State Police. Kenney attended and graduated from high school in Red Bank, New Jersey, according to the Asbury Park Press, part of the USA TODAY Network.
Officials confirmed to USA TODAY Kenney attended the College of Charleston at the time he disappeared.
"Support for those impacted is being offered," the school posted on its Facebook page on Tuesday, Nov. 4. "Students can receive assistance by contacting the Counseling Center, and faculty and staff may contact AllOne Health."
USA TODAY has reached out to the school for more information.
Here's what to know about the missing student.
Kenney was last seen by friends around 2 a.m.
Police described Kenney as a white male, standing 6’1 and weighing 155 pounds.
According to the police update, Kenney was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, light-colored pants and black Nike shoes with white soles.
Before being captured on camera walking, police reported Kenney was last seen by friends near King Street and Burns Lane downtown about 2 a.m. ET.

Cops: 'Misinformation and speculation circulating'
According to police, the last recorded location on Kenney's cell phone was on the Ravenel Bridge.
Charleston police said they continue to search for Kenney and have deployed multiple resources, including the agency's Underwater Recovery Team, Harbor Patrol, K9 units and helicopters.
"Detectives remain in regular communication with Owen’s parents, who continue to be an important part of the ongoing investigation," police wrote in the update.
Police warned that "misinformation and speculation circulating online" could negatively impact law enforcement's investigation by "diverting attention and resources" away from valuable leads.
"While we recognize the tremendous public interest and concern surrounding this case, it is important to remember that at the heart of this investigation is a family searching for their loved one," police wrote.
