BLAIR, Neb. (WOWT) - A Blair mother accused of endangering her two children has made a court appearance.

Tanya Knudsen, 36, pleaded guilty to charges of intentional child abuse without injury in Washington County Court on Tuesday.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 6. Judge Zachary Blackman is presiding over the case.

In August, Blair police reported a Washington County Sheriff’s Office sergeant found two children crying and screaming inside a car. Police said the vehicle was locked and not running.

The children, ages 3 and 16 months old, were removed from the car and hospitalized with signs of heat exposure. Officers then arrested Knudsen.

Police said Knudsen was delivering online grocery orders and left the children inside the car for about half an hour. Emergency crews found
