OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The next phase of construction at the 72nd and L interchange will result in major traffic impacts next week.

Starting on November 13th, 72nd Street will be closed in both directions as the demolition of the L Street bridge begins.

72nd is scheduled to reopen no later than 6 AM on November 18th.

Traffic on L Street between 78th and 67th will be reconfigured to a two lane, two way arrangement which is scheduled to last through fall of next year.

The intersection is in the process of being rebuilt with construction expected to last through next fall.
