MARGATE, Fla. (WFLA) -- The mother of a 10-year-old Florida girl who has been missing for months was arrested on Tuesday.
Passha Davis, 34, remained in the Broward County Jail on Wednesday after being charged with child neglect.
Davis is the mother of Gabrielle Terrelonge, the subject of a Florida Department of Law Enforcement statewide Missing Child Alert issued Monday.
The 10-year-old girl was last seen at Walmart with her mother in June and was not reported missing until last month, when Davis was accused of shoplifting and was arrested. The girl's father, who lives in central Florida, reported her missing Oct. 29., according to a report from WTVJ.
