EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A pedestrian was hit by a MetroLink in the Metro East on Wednesday.

According to Bi-State Development, the pedestrian was hit between the Emerson Park and JJK Center Stations before 11:40 a.m.

While investigators are on the scene, trains between the two stations have been stopped. Passengers could experience delays of over 30 minutes.
