ORLANDO, Fla. – Forgetting an item for a holiday meal can be stressful, especially if friends and family are coming over.

Most major grocery stores in Central Florida will be closed on Thanksgiving, so for people with a preferred store, getting everything on that list is paramount.

But if you’re not picky, there are a handful of stores that will be open, albeit with reduced hours.

News 6 has contacted a number of grocery stores in the area. This list will be updated as we get responses.

Stores closed for Thanksgiving include Publix, Aldi, Trader Joe’s, Target, Walmart supercenters and neighborhood markets, Sam’s Club, Costco and BJ’s Wholesale.
