ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
The head women's soccer coach for the University of New Mexico is stepping down from the program.
According to the University of New Mexico, Heather Dyche announced she will be taking an opportunity with U.S. Soccer to coach the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team.
Dyche coached the Lobo women's soccer team to four Mountain West regular-season championships and one conference tournament championship. She also took the program to two NCAA Tournament appearances.
Dyche served as head coach of the UNM women's soccer team for 11 seasons.
