( KNUE-FM ) Most Texans aren’t thinking about Thanksgiving quite yet. There are still a few weeks of work to do between now and then. But we know the holidays will be here before we know it and this year things might be a bit challenging.
We all know about the government shutdown going on right now, which is creating some unusual issues for travelers. This is only expected to worsen as the shutdown drags on, but does that mean we should change our holiday plans?
AAA Issues Travel Warning for Texans
According to KETK , AAA is saying that you might want to have backup plans just in case your travel plans are not possible. If you’re able to drive instead of fly to visit family, that might be a good option, at least until Congress can reach an agreement.
