The 2025 New York Section VI Class A2 high school girls volleyball sectional championship game has arrived — and it’s the matchup everyone expected. No. 1 seed Pioneer (10-5) faces No. 2 seed Iroquois (12-3) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. ET, and you can watch it right here.

Pioneer beat Lake Shore 25-21, 25-8, 25-17 in the semifinals behind 27 assists, 12 digs and 4 aces from Riley Matuszak. Addison Woodruff added 12 kills and 8 digs and Kailyn Kanner recorded 10 kills and 14 digs.

Iroquois held off City Honors 25-21, 26-24, 25-22 in the other semifinal. The Redhawks are in the sectional championship game for the second consecutive season. They lost 3-0 to Williamsville South in 2024.
