NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have identified the victim of Saturday's quadruple shooting in New Haven.

Alexa Acevedo, 18, of Norwich, died at the scene.

The shooting took place around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Church Street and Center Street.

A 21-year old man and another 18-year-old woman were found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. Shortly after, another 21-year-old man arrived at Yale New Haven Hospital, also with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police say camera footage shows an exchange of gunfire between two people in the area which seems to indicate the victims were not intended targets.
