BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Several Verizon customers in the Baton Rouge area are experiencing a disruption in services following a crash involving a utility pole. This is according to a representative with the company.
Verizon announced shortly before 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, that due to a motor vehicle accident, some customers are experiencing network connectivity issues.
Officials did not release the location of the accident, but did say first responders and power utility workers are on scene to safely allow fiber technicians to restore services.
The company expects a full restoration by late Wednesday evening.
