LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - All JCPS schools and buildings will open and operate as normal on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.

Classes were cancelled Wednesday due to concerns about water and air quality.

JCPS crews tested the water and air quality at all the schools and buildings today. They say everything came back normal.

“Our thoughts remain with all those affected by Tuesday’s tragic plane crash. We recognize that students may need extra support, and want to remind you that counseling and mental health teams are fully prepared at every school to assist. Please reach out directly to your school on Thursday if your child would like to talk with a staff member,” reads a statement from the school board.
