A Midlands hospital has brought back mandatory face masks.
The move has been made in response to a rise of flu cases within the hospital.
Colleagues, patients and visitors to Chesterfield Royal Hospital, in Derbyshire, have been asked to wear 'fluid repellent' surgical face masks during their visits.
Anyone entering the hospital will be required to wear a mask, unless they are exempt.
The hospital said the move is in line with its agreed thresholds which are reviewed regularly.
Krishna Kallianpur, chief nurse at the hospital, said: "We have not taken this decision lightly, but the rise in flu cases has meant we needed to take action to promote safety for our patients and colleagues.
