The United States Postal Service is closing all locations next week in observation of Veterans Day.

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, USPS will not be open to the public — meaning, if you want to check your mail or send out important correspondence, you’ll need to plan ahead.

The USPS determines which holidays it will close for by observing all federally recognized holidays. In 2025, the USPS closes for 11 holidays, though days of mourning and other exceptions may occasionally pop up.

Holidays observed in 2025 include:

Wednesday, Jan. 1 — New Year’s Day

Monday, Jan. 20 — Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday

Monday, Feb. 17 — Presidents Day

Monday, May 26 — Memorial Day

Thursday, June 19 — Juneteenth

Friday, July 4 — Independence Day

Monday, Sept. 1 — Labor Day

Monday, Oct. 13 — Columbus Day
