A Hollywood Police lieutenant was arrested on Monday after being accused of battering an elderly woman, records showed.

Osvaldo Perez, 50, was charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older and battery on a person 65 years of age or older, Broward Jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, on Monday, Perez entered the Broward Main Jail and surrendered himself.

An arrest warrant for Perez described that he grabbed and pushed an elderly woman into a parked car, which caused her to fall on the ground, and she fractured her shoulder.
