EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested four Mexican nationals on Tuesday, Nov. 4, who were working illegally at a popular bakery in East El Paso, according to an ICE official.
The official said that following an immigration inspection, three women and a man were taken into custody and arrested on Tuesday at La Laguna Bakery, 824 N. Zaragoza Road.
This comes after ICE arrested one of the bakery's business owners, "who was also in the country illegally," three weeks ago.
"ICE is tasked with enforcing the business community's compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements and has the responsibility to conduct comprehensive worksite enforcement initiatives targeting employers who violate employment laws," the official statement read in
