NILES Police and first responders are on the scene of what is being described as a possible stabbing in the parking lot of a Niles plaza.

An employee working in a business in the plaza on U.S. Route 422 near State Route 46, otherwise known as the Gentry Center, told 21 News a couple was arguing with a man in the parking lot when one party allegedly stabbed a male victim in the neck.

The employee told 21 News the couple fled the scene, and the male victim was lying in the parking lot bleeding. His condition is unknown.

The employee says the Niles Police Department, as well as fire and medical crews are all on scene.
