Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) is intensifying her defense after GOP senators from her state threw cold water on her latest accusations.

Mace threatened “severe legal action” against American Airlines and the Charleston International Airport on Wednesday, after an incident report alleged the congresswoman had lashed out at security officers in a profanity-laced altercation.

“SUING FOR DEFAMATION!!” Mace wrote on X, before adding that she has retained an attorney over what she called a “falsified” report.

According to the report , filed by a member of the Charleston County Aviation Authority last Thursday, police officers were scheduled to meet Mace at 6:30 a.m. local time at the ticketing area to bring her to her gate. The officers, who began waiting 10 minutes prior to her arrival, wer
