As Democrats celebrate their party’s extensive election victories , former Vice President Kamala Harris has remained curiously silent.
Harris had been an active participant heading into Election Day. Over the past six weeks, she backed Zohran Mamdani for New York City mayor, endorsed Mikie Sherrill for New Jersey governor and stumped for California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s redistricting referendum.
Mamdani and Sherrill won their races Tuesday night, while Californians overwhelmingly approved of a measure which could help Democrats gain up to five more House seats in the 2026 midterms.
Yet, as of Wednesday afternoon, Harris had not issued any statements about the Democrats’ successful night. Her last social media post came Tuesday afternoon , acknowledging the death of former Vice
