Fire crews have been called to deal with a blaze at a flat in the Baillieston area of the city.

Emergency services were called to the Dyke Street area this evening following reports of the incident.

Images from the scene show extensive damage to the second-floor property . It is understood that fire crews rescued a bird from the building.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed they were in attendance. No casualties have been reported.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
