CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A man is facing felony charges after a crash in Calloway County on Tuesday.
According to the Kentucky State Police (KSP), shortly after 4 p.m. on November 4, troopers were called to Backusburg Road and Marigold Drive in Kirksey for a report of a two-vehicle collision.
KSP determined that the driver of one of the vehicles, 48-year-old Justun Wallmann, was under the influence.
While he was being arrested, Wallmann resisted and ran away. A trooper used a Taser on him, and he was taken into custody.
During a search of Wallmann’s vehicle, troopers found a handgun, approximately 70 grams of methamphetamine and 25 pills, which KSP said are still waiting to be identified.
Wallmann was charged with the following:
First-degree trafficking in a controlled substance
