HOPE – The Hempstead County Master Gardeners held a successful greenery decorating workshop last night. Staff chair Terrie James, who has been involved in holiday decorating at Historic Washington State Park for many years shared her secrets to making beautiful natural arrangements with the group. 4-H agent Betty Wingfield spoke on design elements and principles and agriculture agent Kim Rowe shared ideas on searching for easy-to-find plants to harvest.
