HOPE – The Cats had a tough senior night at Hammons Stadium Friday night. Hope fell behind early with two fumbles resulting in two quick touchdowns by the Panthers. along with four long rushing touchdowns in the first quarter putting the game away by the end of the first quarter 59-0.

The second quarter pretty much was the same as the Panthers returned two interceptions for TD’s and one rushing TD to increase their lead to 80-0 at halftime.

Hope did get on the scoreboard in the 3rd quarter on a 25 yd pass from Trey Hoglund to Braylyn Smith for the TD with the missed extra point making the score 80-6 Panthers at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The score remained the same for the entire 4th quarter as the mercy rule allowed the clock to run continuously till the end of the game.
