KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The countdown to baseball begins as the Kansas City Royals announce their 2026 Spring Training schedule.
The Kansas City Royals announced alongside Major League Baseball that the 32-game Spring Training schedule has been released for 2026.
The Royals said the team will begin its 24th season in the Cactus League on Friday, Feb. 20, as the visiting team. They will play the Texas Rangers at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona.

The Club noted that its schedule features 15 home games at Surprise Stadium plus 2 games as the visiting team against the Rangers. The second game will be played on March 18.
The Royals are expected to play 32 games in 33 days - including 29 Cactus Leagu
