Quincy Williams, Breece Hall, Jermaine Johnson react to being with Jets after deadline

There was speculation that the Jets could trade linebacker Quincy Williams ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline .

But it was his brother Quinnen , along with Sauce Gardner , who the Jets traded instead.

Quinnen was traded to the Cowboys, while Gardner was dealt to the Colts hours earlier. Quincy Williams said he was on the phone with Quinnen talking about the Gardner trade when he told his older brother that he was going to be on a flight to Dallas later that night.

“It was one of those things I was like, ‘Alright, take a little minute then hit me up later,'” Quincy Williams said. “We had time to talk about it, cherish memories and stuff like that. But it was also one of those conversations, like alright, [he’s] going to a new scenery, knew everything.”
