ROCKY FORD, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said an adult woman and a 16-year-old male have been arrested following an investigation into reported threats at Rocky Ford Junior/Senior School.

The CBI said Rocky Ford police received a report that a 16-year-old student brought a firearm to a school sporting event in response to alleged threats from a younger juvenile on September 30.

According to CBI, the younger juvenile had been investigated by police on several occasions, but they were not able to confirm any credible threats.

To ensure the school’s safety, police reportedly requested assistance from the CBI, which was supported by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Denver Division.
