LEWISBURG — Local officials who work with older adults are pushing back on Spotlight PA’s ongoing articles focusing on the Area Agency on Aging.

Holly Kyle, executive director of the Union-Snyder Agency on Aging Inc., and Karen Leonovich, director of policy and programs for the PA Association of Area Agencies on Aging and former agency administrator of Northumberland County's agency, said the series misrepresents how Pennsylvania’s aging network handles elder abuse cases. Those misrepresentations, they said, erode public trust in their work.
