HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- A Henderson County Sheriff’s Lieutenant has announced his candidacy for jailer.

In a post to social media, Anthony Willett announced he will be running for Henderson County Jailer.

"Our jail must be safe, professional, and accountable, and it should also be a place where people are given a real chance to change. I want our deputies to go home safe and proud, and I want those in our custody to leave better than they came."
