CHEROKEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people and seized a large amount of meth in a narcotics investigation on Wednesday.
Deputies searched a residence on Kings Creek Ford Road in Blacksburg on Tuesday morning and uncovered “the second-largest methamphetamine operation in the history of Cherokee County.”
Investigators seized roughly 500 pounds of methamphetamine from an abandoned mobile home on the property along with chemicals from the clandestine meth lab operation. The meth seized has a street value of between $1.5 million and $1.7 million. Deputies also discovered a 2005 Range Rover that had been stolen from Cleveland County, NC.
