The Hamilton County teacher charged with assaulting a student appeared in court on Wednesday.
The hearing for William Fryar comes after the district suspended him without pay following his arrest last month.
Fryar, a Harrison Bay Future Ready Center teacher, is accused of shoving an 11th-grade student on August 20.
