Meghan Markle is making her comeback to acting nine years after her last role. ‌

The Duchess of Sussex officially stepped away from her acting career when her romance with Prince Harry began to intensify. She gained recognition playing paralegal Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits from 2011 to 2018, with her final scenes shot the year prior to her departure. ‌

And during the end of her acting stint, she also appeared on screen in the 2016 Hallmark Channel TV film, Dater's Handbook, portraying Cassandra
