DELAND, Fla. – After a man and a woman were found dead over the weekend at a DeLand home, police have now declared the incident was a murder-suicide.
In a release , police said that Scott Waldron, 49, and his wife, Padmini Waldron, 47, were found dead at a home along Cape Cod Road on Saturday morning.
“In this incident, it has been concluded that Scott Waldron shot and killed his wife, Padmini Waldron, and then took his own life,” the release reads. “The Waldrons had been married 12 years.”
Police also identified Scott Waldron as a probation officer, adding that he used his duty weapon in the shooting.
