When attorney Jen Dulski moved to Kansas for a job and bought a farm, she decided she wanted to do something else to make a difference in the world — start an animal rescue.
So in 2018, she made that dream a reality and the first location of Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary launched in Spring Hill, south of Olathe, and has since started operating a shelter in Osawatomie and will reopen a shelter in Kansas City next year. The organization has seen significant growth, built a strong following on social media, and its newest location aims to open in northwest Wichita by the end of 2025.
