Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Mike Bush has come under fire yet again for his use of police helicopters.

Bush last month apologised for using the Air Wing unit helicopter to travel to Hobart for the Australian and New Zealand Police Commissioners’ Forum instead of taking a commercial flight.

He is now defending himself against media reports of two earlier helicopter flights amid Opposition calls for accountability.

The Herald Sun reported Bush was a passenger on a helicopter flight on July 29 while his wife was on a 10-minute flight over Melbourne on June 28 — just a day after Bush was appointed police commissioner. Bush was not on that flight.
