Coming off a 12-7 victory over La Center last Friday for the Trico League championship, Seton Catholic moved up two spots to No. 5 in the Class 1A top 10 in the final Associated Press prep football state rankings of the season.
On Sunday, WIAA committees will release seedings to the state playoffs after Week 10 state preliminary games are held.
Seton Catholic (7-2) was aided by a loss by Cascade Christian to move up to No. 5. The Cougars also leapfrogged Montesano.
La Center (7-2) fell out of the top 10 following the loss.
Camas (7-2) captured the 4A Greater St. Helens League title with a 16-13 win over Skyview on Friday. But the Papermakers slipped one spot to No. 10 in the 4A state rankings.
No other local teams appeared in the top 10 of their classification.
