LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Grade A Auto Parts CFO Georgier Dow has vivid memories of the fiery aftermath of the UPS cargo plane crash that obliterated the company’s scrap house.
“Everything runs through your mind all at once. Is it an earthquake? Are we on a volcano? It was an eruption,” Dow said.
At the time of the crash, Dow was in the company’s main office, a short distance from where the plane destroyed the scrap house.
Three Grade A Auto Parts employees remain unaccounted for, and there is reason to believe that customers may have been on site.
The company’s CEO, Sean Garber, was allowed on the property and described to WLKY what he witnessed.
